Knowledge Remittance Forum
Transforming Knowledge Into Action for a Sustainable Bangladesh

Knowledge Remittance Forum (KRF)

Research. Policy. Impact

Who We Are

Knowledge Remittance Forum (KRF) is a research and policy think tank dedicated to transforming knowledge into action for sustainable and inclusive development in Bangladesh. Founded on the belief that knowledge holds its greatest value when it empowers those who need it most, KRF works to bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice—with a special focus on rural, river-side, coastal, hilly, haor/lake, and forest regions of the country.

Mission

We create practical knowledge, develop smart policies, and design solutions that improve lives, build resilience, and expand fair economic opportunities across Bangladesh—from villages and forests to haors, lakes, and coastal areas.

Vision

To become a globally recognized center for research in microeconomic and sustainable development— connecting local experiences with global knowledge to create a more inclusive, resilient, and prosperous Bangladesh.

Objective

To translate knowledge into practical, evidence-based actions that drive inclusive and sustainable development in Bangladesh. KRF aims to ensure that research, innovation, and policy insights are effectively remitted to the communities, institutions, and sectors that need them most.
